What to replace slippery stone flags with

by Lancastrian » Sat Jan 23, 2021 8:00 am

In the 1980’s we had our garage forecourt and paths to the house professionally laid with stone Flags
I am 78 now
The flags Have become very slippery even though we have them professionally power washed
Is there anything I can replace the stone flags with which will be non slip but still in keeping with our stone cottage

Hi Lancastrian
The surface of your flagstones should not be slippery, suggest you arrange for them to be pressure cleaned with a hard surface cleaning head.

Thank you
It’s just to me they seem so smooth that they seem slippery by the nature of them
They look beautiful with their different hues
