What Type of Bulb do we Have in our Bathroom and is it Easily Replaced?

by hyperconsumer » Tue Jul 18, 2017 9:41 pm

Hello, the light in our bathroom is playing up and only shining at about 5% of the brightness it normally does. I unscrewed the cover to take it off and it looks like this (picture attached).

You can also see how dim it is, is that the bulb that just needs replacing or a problem with the electrics? Is this type of bulb easy enough to find in hardware stores?

Many thanks

It's called a 2D bulb, quite common and easy to replace.
