what type of shower

by seand » Mon Nov 10, 2008 4:48 pm

I'm renovating my house (first time it's been done since Victorian times I reckon!) and I'm going to install a new shower.
I'm not sure of the correct term but the water system in a cold water storage tank in the loft, hot waer in an airing cupboard heated by a downstairs boiler.
I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a type of shower. All of the fuses in the consumer unit are used so if I went for an electric I'd need to have a new consumer unit installed.
Does a water pump or power shower need it's own fuse in the consumer unit or can it run off of one already in use?
The pressure is not great from the hot water tank so I think a basic mixer shower is probably not suitable.

Cheers
Sean
