Hi, I have a bar mixer shower (no idea what brand, but given how shoddy the rest of the bathroom is I'm guessing it must have been cheap) that is about 5 years old and working perfectly apart from the handles at the ends of the bar (or knobs or whatever they should be called) have worn such that they spin round and do not grip onto the metal valves underneath them. So currently we have removed them and can't adjust the temperature or flow without using a pair of pliers.
I've seen cartridges plus handles for sale online but as far as I can tell the cartridges themselves are ok, and the cost of two new cartridges is probably as much as a new shower! Is it possible to buy just the handles, or am I chasing something that doesn't exist? Thanks in advance!
