Hi trying to do up old bungalow it needs a new boiler and i would like to get reed of the old header tank in loft as its been drained & not used for years & goinig rusty.I have seen a copper boiler with its own header tank (all in one) but said on the instructions not not connect to mains. Is there a easy cheepish option.
would appreciate any feed back R.
If you have got to install a new boiler, don't bother with header tanks and low pressure systems. Fit an enclosed system with a combi. By far the best most modern and efficient.
Have a look at Vaillant. Think they are excellent boilers.
