I've just bought my little girl a little wooden cottage to go outside and I wanted to stain it red. It's been impossible to find red though. I've googled until I'm red in the face, but no red stain! The only other alternative apparently (according to the paint chappie in B&Q) is to gloss, but that involves lots of priming and many coats.
Help! :x

Use Sikkens. Good stuff although expensive and you can get virtualy any colour you like these days. Use Cetol HLS as the basecoat and Cetol Filter 7 as the topcoat.

LoL. The guys in the sheds guys have so little knowledge. Third trime this week that little gem has resurfaced. Not their fault as individuals - its down to management.
