wiring a ceiling rose

by ibodgit » Wed Nov 21, 2007 10:30 am

I'm trying to wire a ceiling rose (after decorating) for a light with 2 wall switches. There are 2 earth wires, 2 neutral wires & 1 live wire. This seems to contradict all the diagrams for wiring roses I've seen. I seem to have nearly exhausted all the possible permutations; I have had the light working BUT by using the switch in the next room & not having any lights in the next 2 rooms!

Has anyone had a similar problem?

Thanks
IBS

hi ibodgit,
Check in the ceiling for another red, seems odd.
Good Luck
