Wiring a junction box // daisy chain lighting

by kellyangood » Mon Jun 14, 2010 4:45 pm

Hi there,

I'm looking to make something like this- http://www.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?7d2d1262ce.jpg

I have been to the local electrical shop & have figured out that I need to wire the lamp holders to a junction box, which is in turn wired to a plug. There will be 9 bulbs in total that will have 40W golf ball bulbs in. I just need to clear a few things up-

1 // How many wires can be attached to a 6 junction junction box? Also: will a 20A junction box be right?

2 // What wire do you recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help,

K
