woodworm - help

by BON07 » Tue Apr 24, 2007 11:53 am

can anyone please give me some advice? I am a secondary school art teacher and my room is infested with woodworm beetles. At the moment there are any where up to a couple of hundred crawling or flying around. Several hundred visable in the room next door. They have infested themselves into a lot of the art work. I have been told the room will be sprayed and I have to be out of it for 24hrs. Is this a safe time limit? Also do I need to dispose of all the art work or will the fumes and spray kill them all. Is it possible for me in infect my own home by accidently taking one home in books or clothing?
