Worcester 24i and Wireless thermostat

by nclair » Thu Dec 30, 2010 12:59 pm

I've just discovered today that the new house I've moved into has no thermostat connected to the boiler. There is a thermostat on the wall in the living room, but it isn't connected and don't know where the wires are. The British Gas engineer advised getting a Wireless thermostat fitted by an electrician. Would this work? Does the Worcester 24i allow a wireless thermostat to be fitted. The current space where the thermostat should connect to the boiler is empty.

A wireless thermostat or programmable thermostat will work with every type of boiler and should be a simple installation for a competent electrician.
