Worcester Greenstar 30CDi Combi Boiler Hot Water Problem Help Please!

Post by bjf2019 » Thu Feb 14, 2019 7:14 pm

Hi,
I have a Worcester Greenstar 30CDi combi boiler.
The central heating works fine, however I have no hot water if the heating is off. If the heating is on I get a few minutes of hot water either from the shower or the taps... when the heating is off I get no hot water at all.
Straight away I thought this must be a dodgy diverted valve... however, the plot thickens. The hot water tap right next to the boiler in the utility room works absolutely fine whether the heating is on or off.. gets nice and hot and maintains temp. but no other taps or showers get hot! They are stone cold!
This is a real head scratcher. The hot water feed pipe from the boiler comes down and goes to a t junction; one way to the tap (that gets hot), and the other way to the rest of the house (that does not get hot!).

Any ideas/help would be really appreciated!
