Wrong colour sealant

Post by little_woodster » Wed Sep 12, 2007 1:14 pm

Hi all. Now, like a muppet I've just put the wrong colour sealant around the new bath and shower screen I've just installed. Instead of white, I used ivory (which is more like a cream). My only defences are that the lighting was poor and I am an idiot.

Anyway, I was wondering if I could just run new (white) sealant over the top of the stuff I've just put in, or do I have to peal it all out completely and reseal it?

thank you kindly

Start all over I'm afraid. Silicone Sealant won't stick to Silicone Sealant. Have fun.

Cheers
