zone valve/hot water

hi i have just fitted an drayton za5 2port 22mm zone valve well actually i didnt fit the two port part just the zone valve as the old one was faulty heating works perfectly but checked this morning and although heating was not on the radiators were warm the hotwater was on should i have replaced the two port part aswell please help

If you're still having bother , then yes it looks like the valve needs replacing too. It's probably just the valves isn't closing fully.
