The Doctor’s Opinion
Great screws for fixing close to the edge. The notch in the shaft of the screw allows the timber to be forced into it rather than simply being displaced sidewards which makes the timber split. Excellent screws for edge work although we would always recommend using a pilot hole. The fact that we didn’t in the video was just for presentation purposes.
