Welcome to our shower enclosure video
0:05
First of all, measure from the inside of the tray, the 10mm or so it says for your uprights
0:13
Make sure you level them completely and then mark with a pencil
0:19
Make sure they're absolutely plumb. This is both sides of the tray
0:25
Ascribe the line and then double check that they're level. This is very important and the door operation will depend on it
0:33
Put some sanitary sealant along the inside of the upright channels and push them again against
0:40
the wall onto your line. Move them up and down so that the sealant is squashed flat against all part of the channel
0:53
the channel into the wall with the screws provided and then put the caps on the screws we always use a little bit of sealant just to stick them on absolutely 100 and make sure they
1:07
waterproof slide the frame put the frame together of course first each frame is
1:15
different so we haven't shown you that push the frame into the channel through the channel and the frame as shown by the instructions and screw together
1:24
tightly don't use a power screwdriver for this operation because the self-tappers will strip
1:31
the thread away. Screw them in, push the caps on. You can see they're a tight fit without sealant but a little bit of sealing doesn't hurt
1:41
These are the door stops for the frame. Fit those in position around the top and the bottom of the frame if required and these will
1:50
stop the doors banging together or banging against the ends when they're open
1:54
These this is a quadrant tray so these are curved doors And these are the brackets that will fit at the top of the doors The door slides in there tightens up and the clip covers the holes
2:09
The bracket at the bottom has the springs. These are the fully adjustable brackets and these go onto the bottom of the door
2:17
As I've said, slide the brackets on, tighten them up and then adjust them
2:24
then adjust them all so they're in exactly the same place for when you slide them into the overhead track
2:32
Push them into the track and now put the rubber seals on the fixed panels at either side of the door
2:39
Screw on the handles, close them up and when they're closed make sure the handles are aligned and the gap in between them is uniform
2:49
The gap all the way from top to bottom should be absolutely parallel and the gap
2:53
parallel as you can see here and if it isn there adjustment on the top brackets to make sure that you get them parallel Push the magnetic closure strips onto the edge of the sliding doors and push them together
3:10
This is another check to make sure that your doors are accurately aligned
3:14
And as I've said, if they're not, the adjustment is on the top rail
3:21
Make sure all the end caps are fitted to the channels to keep the water
3:25
out of those channels as much as possible and there you have one fitted shower
3:30
enclosure always follow the manufacturers instructions for the sealant and never seal the inside edges of the frame
