I would like to convert my room into two with wardrobes and there is a 10cm gap between wardrobe and ceiling. I do not want to damage ceiling but want a good finish and will be better if possible to make it sound proof.

Buy some strips of 11cm square foam rubber and feed them into the gap along both sides, this will give you a neat simple sound proof finish.
Note, while the wardrobes will give you a physical barrier, they will not do much to sound proof a room.
You will need to fill them to absorb sound.
