2 rads not working

i have 2 rads not working on the ground floor of my house. they are next to each other but in different rooms, they both have been bled but they are not hot. the flow @ return pipes are also cold.
Is is possible that there is an airlock in the system?

Any help would be appreciated and to stop the missus nagging me
