Adding a new radiator.

Post by dallboy » Sat Jan 19, 2008 6:30 pm

I want to add a radiator in my lounge of our house. There is a radiator in the upstairs bedrrom on the same outsode wall as where i want to place the new radiator. Is it as simple as teaing into the feed and return pipes of this radiator and running new pipes to the radaitor down stairs? or is there more to it than this? the pipes to the upstairs rad are 15 mm.

Yes. Just tee into each of the two pipes going to the radiator upstairs and using 15mm bring the pipes to the new radiator. Not which is the flow and return, and fit the new valves accordingly.
