adding an extra celing rose that runs off an existing switch

Can this be done ? ie can 2 ceiling roses be operated by one switch? where and how would you cut into existing circuit if this is possible ?

hi, yes , quite easy,
take twin& earth 1.0mm cable from first rose to second rose, connect to same terminals as flex in first rose and same at second, regards SPARX

thank you. unfortunately what i omitted to say was that i can't get to the ceiling rose that's already connected only the wiring. This is my first post and i KNEW there'd be something vital i left out! any hope?

Hi agn, not much hope!
sorry but if wiring is '3 plate loop-in' ie three cables at light then that is the only place you have sw-line & Neutral together. It might be possible some other way but would need a leckie to look at house layout as no standard wiring methods used, bw SPARX
