Any negatives on using adhesive spray for wood to concrete? Kitchens, doors, rails, stud, tables, chairs, stair cases, garden furniture etc... Find answers and ask questions here!

Hi everyone

My plan is to hide the ugly concrete posts on my garden fence by adding a thin covering of wood around each.

A friend has suggested using adhesive glue spray, however I'm not convinced this has much longevity and I was wondering what experiences any of you have had and any other recommendations?
