Ariston ACO 27 RFFI condensing boiler

Postby brian mac » Tue Oct 25, 2011 12:31 am

    Hello One and All,
I have an Ariston condensing boiler providing CH and and Domestic Hot Water(DHW) using a hot water cylinder.
When the boiler "fires up" the system makes a series of,what can be best described as loud gurgles and pops. Could this be air? Also the boiler pressure guage reads zero despite the pressure gauge on the cold water header feed to the system reading 1.5 bar.
At present both CH and DHW are both operating OK despite start up noises although rads appear to need balancing.
I have read previous threads but they appear to be mainly for combi's - can anyone please shed any light on best approach.
    Regards Brian Mac

    Hi,
you may have answered your own question!
The pressure gauge should read between 1-1.5 bar, there should be a filling loop with the boiler, see hand book, which if you don't have one it is available as a down load.
    or tech help on 0870 241 8180 or customer help on 0870 600 9888.
    regards
