    Bad Council Tarmac work !!

    Postby reggae88 » Mon Feb 28, 2011 9:10 pm

The council came to my parents and removed 4 cracked slabs, then poured course tarmac into the hole. The work took 20mins and the level is a good inch higher than the other slabs. My folks have just received an invoice for £500 as the council claims they cracked the slabs by having a skip delivered. Is this cowboy work? (by the way, the work was done in the snow)

tell the council that they've left a trip hazard and that you will take legal action if somebody were to fall and injure themselves.

that should get them round pretty sharpish!
