Can anyone help,
when anyone uses the shower or turns the water on in my house, the pipes in my bedroom bang until a short time after the shower or tap are turned off, this is a nightmare when someone is up early. can anyone give me any solutions to this, maybe changing the pressure in the system etc.many thanks

Close mains stop tap slightly, clip and lag piepwork to limit vibrations.

and if that doesn't entirey solve it fit a shock arrester. Note that it is important that this water hamer problem is dealt with. The shockwaves can be so severe as to cause fittings to fail in time - then you've got a flood to deal with.

Cheers
