Bathroom Light pull switch

Post by pod » Sat Mar 28, 2009 3:41 pm

My bathroom light pull cord snapped with the light off so I thought I'd dismantle it and reattach the cord. I was careful to take all the bits out and lay them in order and I've reattached the cord and put it all back together but it won't work. Has anyone got any suggestions?

What won't work the pull cord or the electrics?
If electrics what cables have you from the ceiling, has one got a red/brown sleave or flag on it?
If Pull Cord Switch buy another one!
