    Postby jono1292 » Thu Jan 08, 2009 9:56 am

Hi can someone please point me in the right dirrection . After bleeding the radiator's i noticed the pressure gauge on the boiler was verey low just about 1/2 bar , so i added more water via the cold water feed loop. However i ended up putting to much in and know the gauge reed 4 bars and i need it ti be about 1 -1 1/2. I take it i have to release out some water .If so how should i do thid i have tried by releasing some water from a radiator but still the gauge does not move . Please help and an idiots guide would be much appreciated as im freezing and scared to turn the boiler on while pressure is so high

    many thanks

    Hi Jono,

Do as you said - let some more water out a rad - then switch boiler back on, it won't blow up, the guage may have stuck. Any over pressure - the water will be dumped outside via the PRV.
