    BAXI ECO 80 WILL NOT TURN OFF.

    HI, I HAVE A BAXI 80 ECO APPROX 6 YRS OLD WHICH WHEN I RUN THE DOMESTIC HOT WATER ALSO HEATS THE CENTRAL HEATING AND THEN CONTINUES TO DO SO EVEN WHEN HOT WATER TAP IS SHUT OFF.
    ANY INFO WELCOME, THANKS DAVE.

    Possible diverter fault, you need an RGI to carry out fault finding - to say for sure.

    Have now fixed problem. Micro switch that is operated when DHW is called for , located on front of diverter valve diaphragm was u/s. Cost £15.00 new. Thanks Dave.

    those microswitches do have a tendency to stick, especially if the spindle weeps.
    remember the diverter valve on those sits in the heating position
