Bedroom fan

by russellfl » Tue Oct 20, 2009 12:44 pm

I can anyone advise?

I want to put an extractor fan in my guest bedroom as we often have friends come who smoke and no matter how often I ask them not to they still do it at times, so I thought to install a fan in the bedroom with a pull switch over the bed, but the fan i have bought states that it needs to be a double pole switch. I can find no end of wall switches and 45a shower pull switches but nothing for a fan. Any idea's? it needs to be an on line shop as i live in the sticks

Cheers

A double pole switch is the same as an electric shower pull cord switch.

I suggest getting different friends, or installing a smoke alarm to embarass them out of the habit.

I absolutely agree with you csimpson. It may be this will could work out or just make a banner with content "No Smoking" which is typically we've seen in different private places.
