Bedroom Wall Starting to Show Signs of Damp After Replastering!

Post by Raul_breganzo » Mon Jan 22, 2018 1:12 pm

Hi

I'm starting to notice slight damp on my bedroom wall - a month or so.
The room was newly plastered 2 years ago. Recently I had the front of the house rendered and new gutters put on.
I can't see any obvious places water would seep in although I've not got on the ladder to check it fully due to the bad weather!
Yes, the wall is slightly cold but seems to be the same across the whole wall and everywhere else is fine, no sign of damp.

In the interim I've placed a dehumidifier and it is collecting some water.
Anyone please????

Having issues posting pictures up!!! The 1 I have posted shows the guttering on the bedroom wall. Hope this helps a bit.
