    blocke outside drain

    my foul water drain,kitchen sink,washing machine and soon to be dishwasher,backs up outside,the trap fills ,overflows and drains down the drive,eventually draining away.i have tried a short wire toilet unblocker ,no joy and now tried a caustic chemical ,no joy
    i would like to avoid dynorod costs .can anyone help[bournemouth]

    If you are referring to an outside gulley you will have to get a hand down into it to clear the invert and outpipe.

    did the hand down the gulley/trap ,brought up some mud/silt but the blockage seems to be out of reach

    Did you manage to get your hand "round the bend" and clear the outlet pipe, this has to be your priority before going further.

    unfortunately to get any further into the drain i need triple jointed wrists
    and very long arms

    A set of drain rods is the best bet for tackling this problem. These can be purchased relatively cheaply from DIY stores, or hired from a Tool Hire shop, and will certainly be cheaper than calling in Dynorod.

    While the rods are too rigid to bend around the u-bend, using the 4" flat rubber end piece you can force water through the pipe with some force. This may well dislodge a build up of fat, hair and tissues etc.

    If this does not shift it, then tackle the problem from the other end, the sewer manhole. Use the rods to push the blockage the other way, towards the u-bend and gulley.
