boiler does not ignite when demand for water or heating

Baxi Boiler. Power light is on, but the boiler will not ignite. Have just changed the motorised valve and everything worked ok for a couple of days. All the controls seem to be calling for the boiler and it makes the right noises but just doesn't ignite.
What should I check in the boiler and in what order? Thanks

I had a similar problem (different boiler). If it has a fan assisted flu the fan needs to be running before the boiler will light. Faulty fans are quite a common problem.

What's the model of the boiler ?

You get different faults on different boilers, depending on whether it's,

Open flue
Fanned flue
Natural Draught

Can't really help much more until you give abit more info.
