Trustmark and the NHIC
bricks above window
hi all ive just removed the old plasterboard to replace it and to find the cause of the bellying above the window in my upstairs front bedroom. Above the window is 3 courses of bricks which are all loose they sit on top of the window behind the timber lintle they are not fixed in any way. The roof joists are supported by the timber lintle and come down through the bricks these bricks are not visible on the front of the house either on my style of house the facias and soffits come down level with the top of the window am i ok removing these bricks alltogether as i cant see what they are doing appart from putting pressure on the windows any help greatly appreciated
