Cable Gromit?

Post by snowie » Tue Sep 21, 2010 2:42 pm

I'm looking for a 'gromit' type of thing, (similar to the gromit on a metal socket back plate, where the cable runs through preventing it being chaffed), except the gromit I'm looking for is to take the cable directly through plaster board, making a tidier hole in the plaster board.
Does such a thing exsist?
Thanks

You can use stuffing glands, conduit parts, or the special units to fire seal cables but normally one would not bother with plaster board it is unlikely to damage cables.

Fire stop is normally all that is required if it even needs that. Silicon sealant will also fix and stop the cable damaging the plaster board.
