Can I put my Washing Machine waste under concrete floor?

by gyp7 » Fri Aug 07, 2015 6:47 pm

I was wondering If I could run the waste pipe under a concrete floor If I cut out a channel. Its about 2 meters to the outside wall.
If I did this how deep should I bury it and would it affect the damp membrane.
( not sure how deep dpc is, 1978 extention)

There is no alternative its either under the floor or no washing machine, running it arround the wall is not an option.

yes you can do it, if you cut the dpm then use duck tape to seal it, also use solvent sealed pipes, not push fit, 50mm minimum, concrete coverage, over the pipes is recommended
