    ceiling light fault

    Postby patriot78 » Wed Jan 18, 2012 10:52 am

Hello i wonder if anyone can help me
the ceiling down light in my living room went off last nite. It is one with loads of leds in it. I checked the circuit breaker and it is still closed. I removed the switch and there are 2 wires, one common and one live and there is no voltage going through them. Could anyone tell me what the problem might be.
    thank you

    patriot78,
Most likely that the connection (which supplies electricity to the switch) above the light in the ceiling has come adrift. Turn off the electricity and remove the light fitting so you can check the connections.
    end
