why would the upstairs raddiators be on. and down stairs ice cold :roll:

Pump has stopped working and hot water if being fed around upstairs by thermal gravity flow.

Oh dear - more info please - boiler make/model and system

But the pump would be a first check.

Gravity system - CH off, upstairs radiators can get warm as heat rises.

CH on - upstairs hot, downstairs cold - pump not working.
