Changing Washing Machine Downpipe From 32mm to 40mm

Hi,

I need to change my washing machine waste downpipe from 32mm to 40mm so I can fit the McAlpine V33WM twin waste connector and hook up the dishwasher waste to the same pipe.

What is the simplest way of doing this please?
