Composite decking
I was at the NEC homebuilder show last week and saw a company that makes composite decking. They advised that the benefits of their product compared to either hard or soft wood decking were; moss/algae proof, antislip, anti fade, no maintenance and also easy to install. Does anyone have any experience of this type of product? It sounds almost too good to be true! We have never had decking before.
Re: Composite decking
if it sounds too good to be true..
composite decking does have its disadvantages such as relative high costs, if it is decayed then there is no way you can sand it and repolish and make it better, then it is just plastic and that for a considerable price, I would prefer to look at something more natural such as wood.
