    Conservatory Guttering clips

    Postby ConnachtMan » Mon Jul 20, 2009 6:43 pm

    Hi all,

The guttering on my conservatory is fixed by brackets that clip onto the conservatory and then support the gutter by an arm that hooks under the gutter outer edge. Most of the brackets have now broken and as a result the guttering frequently sags when there is a heavy rain and I need to replace these brackets however I have no idea who manufactures them.
The closest I have seen is on the Sheerlite roofing system (Google "sheerlite.co.uk/fastfit gutter") however they have assured me that my brackets are not the same.

Does anyone have any ideas ? I have some photos of a broken bracket if that would assist.

    Thanks

    Hi Lowe,

I actually phoned Sheerlite and the guy I spoke to stated that since they advertised on the web they had been inundated with requests from people like you & me who needed guttering clips !

He was a good bloke to talk to and I sent him some photos of my clips which he assured me were not theirs - I'm still hunting the web in vein at the moment however if I find anything I'll post it on this site.

    Best of luck

Try marley I did a search for the same reason. I was going to replace just one, but my whole gutter has come down as the recent snow melts.

    CONSERVATORY GUTTERING CLIPS

    Postby johnglass » Tue Jan 12, 2010 10:58 pm

I have had all my conservatory guttering clips snap with the weight of recent snowfalls. They are badly designed but I understand the manufacturer is looking at reinforciing a new version.
The cllip I have is a RS3279 (White), it is used by Wendland/Ultraframe. Google "wendland.uk/com"

    conservatory guttering

    Postby plugsmith » Sat Jan 16, 2010 9:11 pm

Marshall Tufflex rainwater goods have apparently been taken over by Polypipe and I need top hung fascia brackets for my conservatory gutters.
None of the featured brackets on the Polypipe site seem to resemble mine. The only clue I have is a number RWKAI which appears on one of the corners Can anyone help

    Gutter Brackets / Clips

    Postby Tenebos » Thu Jan 21, 2010 9:24 am

My conservatory gutter has also ended up on the floor after the recent snow. It was held on by clips RS32790 (white). These snapped where they attach to the facia. I e-mailed capitall systems.com and received an almost immediate reply
I am now fixed up with replacement brackets. Let them know approx length of your guttering & how many brackets you have, and they will let you know how many you require.

Thanks for all the above info. Still awaiting a reply from Wendland

    Wedland Conservatory Clips

    Postby ram2048 » Sat Jan 23, 2010 10:54 pm

    Hi All,
Thanlks to all for your comments. I too have suffered a number of broken clips due to the recent snow.
Just found the clips for sale on Ebay. Just search for Wedland. Not sure if they are competively priced £20.00 for 12 brackets, but that will do for me. Hope this info helps :)

broken twist fit top hung gutter brackets on conservatory

Postby simon bracket » Sat Jan 30, 2010 10:15 am

I have also been a victim of the recent weather and so i am looking for guttering brackets to fit my conservatory. However mine sound different as they are twist fit top hung brackets, they slide into the alluminium frame then turn 90 degrees and job done they are fitted. i have flo plast niagra guttering but the brackets iv been told are a specialised item , flo plast dont do twist fit. and neither do the big retailers... anyone help???
