Do i need planning permision
Hi, I have an out building 12ft x 8ft log cabin in my front garden on land forward of a wall forming the principal elevation. This Log cabin has been in place since 2007. i did not apply for planning and have had no problem with planning department since the planning laws can into place in 2008. Can i be made to take this down or am i ok seeing as its been errected pre 2008? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated regards Heath
Re: Do i need planning permision
I would say no,Unless its in a conservation area.A 12 ft x 8ft wooden cabin would be classed as a temporary structure.
Re: Do i need planning permision
If the cabin has been in position for more than 4 years, it is time-barred from any action by the council.
