Drain / Refill a Glow-worm Space-saver 50 MkII Boiler

by centurion1 » Sat May 23, 2009 3:43 pm

Hi, I want to fit a new valve to the radiator in the bathroom, I understand that I have to drain the system first. How do I refill this boiler after I have drained it, I cant find a refill loop. Will I be able to refill the system via the radiator drain tap in the kitchen.

Or is there a site where I can access a user manual

Cheers

Dont know the boiler, but if it is not a combi, i would have thought that it would refil automatically, via the C/H header tank, once you turn the mains back on/untie the ball valve.
You will almost certainly have to let air out of all the rads, one at a time, starting on the G/F with the rad furthes away from the header.
Others more knowledgeable may correct me, but that is what I would do.
