Drilling a hole above window

Post by terry1 » Sat Oct 10, 2009 3:56 pm

I have drilled a hole above the window to screw in a hook to hang a material roller blind and plaster has given way making the hole far to big for the hook. Can someone tell me what is the best way to fill in the hole and still be able to screw the hook here afterwards? Much appreciated. I will not be drilling into the lintle.
Cheers

fischer has a couple of solutions.

If the hole is not too big, the PD nylon fixing is great.

Also in the Screwfix book there is the Fill n fix product.
It expands slightly into a sleeve. If you pilot drill the foam when it has gone off you can screw straight into it.

Good luck!
