Drilling into render

by diy wife » Sun Sep 04, 2011 9:34 pm

I need to fix a trellis into render on an exterior wall. I think that drilling into render is a bad thing to do as it invites damp. Am I right? Does anyone have advice about how to do it without shattering the render?

fixing a trellis to a wall wont invite damp, you wont shatter the render,Start the drilling slowly at first and just use a nylon plug and 75mm screws
