Drive Cracking around Manhole

I have a manhole cover in the drive and the tarmac is cracking around the edge. How can this be repaired. Is it easy or do I need a proffesional.

It is not too bad at the moment but I imagine if I keep putting the car over it, it will gradually get worse.

Any help gratefull.

Rake out the loose stuff, coat the recess with bitumastic paint and fill with repair tarmac.

Try your local builders merchant and ask for cold lay tarmac - it comes in 25kg bags.
