DUAL FUEL OVEN BLOWN-ELECTRICAL OR OVEN COMPONENT WORN OUT?

HI, FIRST POSTING. MY OVEN HAS JUST BLOWN UP! SLIGHTLY OVER DRAMATIC, NO FLAMES BUT CERTAINLY A LITTLE SMOKE. WE HAVE HAD THIS DUAL FUEL RANGE FOR OVER 3 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.
IT IS ON IT'S OWN 30A FUSE AND HAS NEVER BLOWN A FUSE BEFORE, EVEN WITH BOTH ELECTRIC OVENS RUNNING AT HIGH CAPACITY AT SAME TIME. ON THIS OCCASION ONLY THE MAIN OVEN WAS ON AND NOT AT FULL TEMP. AFTER ABOUT TEN MINUTES THERE WAS A NOISE - CERTAINLY NOT A BANG & WENT TO INVESTIGATE.
OVEN DIGITAL DISPLAY WAS OFF SO THOUGHT INITIALLY IT WAS THE FUSE THAT HAD BLOWN (THOUGH THOUGHT IT STRANGE WHY). SURE ENOUGH FUSE HAD GONE SO REPLACED WIRE (OLD CARRIER NOT MCB) AND HAD ANOTHER GO. THIS TIME MORE NOISE LIKE A LOUD POP BUT SMOKE THIS TIME. SO QUICKLY TURNED OFF AT WALL AND CHECKED THE FUSE. THIS TIME WIRE INTACT SO MORE THAN A LITTLE CONFUSED.
IS THIS JUST A CASE OF OVEN COMPONENT RUNNING IT'S COURSE AND GIVING UP? RATHER THAN ELECTRICAL? AS WIRING IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS IT HAS BEEN FOR THE PAST 3+ YEARS, THAT WOULD BE THE MOST SENSIBLE OPTION TO ME. AS I AM CLEARLY NO EXPERT I SHALL DEFER TO THOSE OUT THERE WHO KNOW BETTER.

It seems likely you have a fault with the oven. But it requires skill and special tools and we are unlikely to be able to guide you as how to repair.

it sounds like the oven element may have gone, but there's several other componets in a cooker that can cause the electric to trip (or blow a fuse) the only way to correctly diagnose is with specialist test equipment which us service engineers carry
