    electric shower

    Postby trevor123 » Tue Feb 12, 2008 9:39 pm

hi, i have an electric shower and would like to fit a fixed 6'' rain shower head to it although all the ones i have seen say there not suitable for electric, only power and mixer showers. pardon my dumbness but is this due to pressure? will the water only trickle out of the large head? water pressure is good in my house and the shower is 9.5kw if that helps? cheers

With 9.5Kw you can't expect to heat the same amount of water as my 27Kw gas boiler in the same way as I can't do same as storage system. It is the amount of water at a temperature that can be produced you can use big shower head if you like cold showers but if you want warm water you can't have big shower head and I can't have side jets. But there are some big heads with little holes nothing sprays in middle you can used them.
