Can you tell me how to measure nuts & bolts as I am trying to find nuts for a certain bolt for my exhaust system. I have tried everywhere and the thread seems to be different from the other types of bolts. How can I tell what kind of thread it is? :?

Most trading estates have a small engineering unit in them somewhere so take the bolt there are ask the guy. They may even be able to supply the nuts.
