Feather-edge fencing

by Kiwidiyer » Sat Aug 04, 2007 7:46 pm

Could someone please advise me - I have a gap of 3 metres between two fences on my side boundary. The fence is going to be feather edge fencing at 3 foot high plus 6" gravel board. Could I get away with an arris rail spanning the 3m or should I do a post in the middle. The area is not exposed to high winds etc.

Many thanks
T

HI

You do not need to fit another Post for a 3 metre run of fencing, as the aris rails are designed to hold this lengh of closeboard.
You shoud have not problem if the rails are not exposed to high winds. :)
