Fitting new radiator brackets to a solid wall

Post by clarkylad » Sat Nov 29, 2008 10:44 am

Hi

Can somebody help me with this query please. I have taken an old ardiator off a wall and had the wall re plastered. I am going to get a new modern radiator to put back in its place of similar size etc. How do you calculate where and how high to mount the new brackets for the new radiator.

Thanks

Measure from floor to center of rad valve, place bracket onto radiator, measure from center of tail hole to bottom of bracket.

+ the two = distance from floor to bottom of bracket.
