Am thinking of fitting upvc bi-fold/sliding doors to extension. have been told I will need to fit a beam to carry the weight of them, but does anyone know how long lasting these doors are. some double glazing companies won't fit or garantee them.
    thanks

Thee doors are only fitted by specialist companies
    try prestige windows (prestigeconservatories.co.uk) 01492 544 333
they are the best company for this type of work.

any window company will have no problem installing bi-folding doors.
Aslong as you have a level cill and good solid fixing in the head you wont have any problems. My company would fit and still give a 10year guarantee to the frames and glass.
