Floor Grout Cracking

by bedfordsteve » Wed Jan 09, 2008 1:47 pm

Hi - I have had a new bathroom installed including a brand new tiled floor but after a couple of months the floor grout around the perimiter has cracked away from the skirting board. I have thought about scraping the grout out and re-doing but there is a chanc this will happen again.

Any ideas??

It's inevitable - although the grout is prolly flexible the skirtings move, the tiles/grout don't and the grout cracks.

Silicone.

Cheers
